That’s skunks, not haggis.

Should group build threads be in their own sections (e.g. Heng Long builds etc.) or will there be a separate section?

Desert in ones dessert, far too crunchy. A bit like eating sandwiches on the beach as a child lol.
Well, I have the Taigen winter T-34 and Taigen winter Panzer IV, so, been there, done that lol.
And in bits and pieces, I have a Matilda, SAS Jeep and a LRDG truck. Along with a small hatch cast Sherman, a spare Tiger 1, and a Panzer III.
Oh, and a 17 pounder anti tank gun, like my father used to fire at German and Italian armour
Which brings a dilemma, I haven't made provision for any Italian tanks
As for haggis, nasty stuff, although it does improve with gravy (neat whisky )
A couple of pictures for those that haven't seen the Taigen winter Panzer IV or their winter T-34.
Please excuse the picture quality, that was using my first camera phone.

Kind of comment I expect from the uncultured south, with your jellied eels, and pickled eggs.Son of a gun-ner wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 2:34 pm

I'm baaaack from the land of Hairy Coos and Sheep! So if anyone wishes to join in the Winter Build, send me a PM with what you plan to do. (Yes, indeed, SOG: I do like and did buy both the Taigen winter T-34 and the PzKfW IV.)

According to my Mickey Mouse wrist watch, it's a few hours into November 1st 2023. Just wondering where we are to post our Winter 23-24 build threads?

Good question. Glad I'm not the only one still on board.
Been kinda slow around here lately. Hopefully this will re-energize the troops.

Still no response from admins who have the authority to create a new section. I encourage you to post new threads in standard sections with the [Winter] or [D-Day] prefix. When a new section is created in the coming days, these threads will be moved there.

Re: A Winter '23-'24 Group Build?
Good Evening,
I'm recouping from taking a header down the front steps during a major snowstorm last Sunday. Busted up pretty good (or Bad, depending on your prefs) I have the model underway and some pics that need adjustment to post. I will keep an eye out for the new section and start it up there.
regards,
Painless
