Hobby engine PZR III?

Just a couple of pictures of my Pzr III running on Hobby Engine electronics and a 9.2v battery pack. All works fine except that the bb gun had to come out so that i could fit the board. When fully charged this thing will go side ways around corners!to put it bluntly, its bloody fast and is superb off raod.

In the Abrams, where they came from, they were pritty poor, battery life and signal range being the main down points, but since being put into the PZR, they seem to have come alive. They have full range of drive, though no speed control, full turret traverse, gun elivation, recoil, lights and sound( not very loud and no volume control). Im running them on a 9v instead of 7v battery and im using standered HL gear box's and motors.The speed at which the PZR travels is out standing, the control is quick and presice and it'll drive through and climb over pritty much any thing. In my opinion, its far better then my metal up graded Bulldog, which is my only other HL tank and is also by far the most caperble of all my tanks off road. All that said, i only found this out by trial and error, but shows that even cheap electronics can give great performance. The only thing is that i had to remove the BB gun to accomidate the new board, but the turret still rotates and the MG sound accompanies the movement.
I feel I could do better though. I bought it for £20, as a box of bits, the hull was warpped by heat, as were most of the road wheels and one of the drive sprockets. you couldnt even call it a rolling chassis. The electronics were fried and the controller didnt work and there was no battery, hence the unusual radio gear. Im glad you like it
