Hi everyone I'm Richard
I'm new to this rc tank business but not to rc. I have just gotten myself a Henglong Walker Bulldog. I will be modding it and learning on this relatively cheap tank before embarking on a Tamiya (The Dream). I have many rc cars and hope some of my skills with them will help me with tanks. Be sure tho I'm not afraid to ask dumb questions and be laughed at,my two teenage sons do it alot to me. Anyway look forward to talking to some new people about this great hobby

In R/C I've crashed planes and cars and sank boats. I really enjoy this tank thing as they move slow enough that it's hard to get in trouble. Welcome aboard Richard!

Welcome from Ontario, Canada!
The bulldog is a great tank to get your feet wet. Not Heng Long's most accurate model but can any tank get more tanky than the bulldog?
Mike.

Welcome. Kinda why I made my Bulldog into an even more ridiculous tank...the T49 prototype.

Well, Richard, it would be hard to beat tankme's T-49 prototype for a downright weird combination of turret and hull. I will be interested to see your photos, for I have two Torro Walker Bulldogs, just a tad bit better running than the old HengLong Bulldog's, but with some glaring errors such as being a bit too big for 1/16, having the wrong strengthening ribs on the tool boxes, and showing driver's scopes that are tipped skyward. Nonetheless, I like the Walker Bulldog. It is, as ColemanCollector says, "tanky," and although a US tank, it got around to many of the rest of the world's armed forces.
