1/16 IS-3
1/16 IS-3
How are you guys lately. I made sdkfz234 a while ago, and now I am back to update the new RCtank.
The protagonist of this time is IS-3. I made the IS-3 tank a few years ago and uploaded the file to Cults a few months ago. The previous IS-3 file was made using 3DMAX, which has the advantage of easy modeling and hands-on experience. I used solid works to make this new IS-3, which has higher accuracy, a more reasonable structure, and a more convenient assembly process.
I have now completed the chassis and turret parts.
It has a chassis made of 2MM aluminum plates welded together,
I will make: 1/16 T-26 1/16 M1070 1/10 TEYP-16 1/16 zis-6
Let's start updating the pictures
In fact, it is not difficult to create a shape, as the key is that plastic parts require uniform wall thickness to avoid stress concentration,So this will take me a lot of time。

Re: 1/16 IS-3
I purchased the IS-3 off of Cults, but haven't had a chance to start printing it yet.

"I make a living by making vehicle models." Well, your work may be the dream job for some of the wizards here on RCTW. I am impressed by what you are doing with the IS-3 here!

Nice work, It makes me smile when I think of a company as big as Heng Long who cannot get the location of the Turret on the Tiger1 correct but one of the forums members thinks nothing of getting it exactly right for an IS-3.
More strength to your modelling skills sir,
I shall watch your progress with great interest.

Looks nice. I know you said you weren't going to sell this one on Cults, is it just for personal use then or are you going to be printing kits for sale?

I only need some details now, and I will complete the design of the car body in the next two days
