I am taking my first steps into rc tanks, diversifying from my collection of Tamiya Cars. I love all things model making and am looking forward to learning about the electrics side of the hobby (more than just a battery, receiver, etc and motor). I’m currently 3d printing all the parts for a 1:10 Tiger 1, it’s gonna take a while 😳, so in the meantime, when time allows, I’m researching electronics options that will allow me to fit all the bells and whistles. Looking forward to the journey with you all.

Wow! Welcome! I'm sure many (including me) would be interested in photos of your progress, and there will be many (likely not including me :eh:) who can answer questions about electronics. When you get some photos and make a bit of progress with the printing, etc., you could do a "build" in the "Larger Scale Military" section: viewforum.php?f=80

G'day Mr SlackBladder(how English is that Baldrick!!??) from the Gold Coast of Australia out of new Zealand.
I too am learning the dark art of electronic control systems, and failing miserably!
A member here Radschuart has a fine website that covers a lot of electro-trickery so get your google on & have a look around.
Great to have you along & hell of a first choice for a project. We will all want to see that as it develops.
