Hi all,
Just picked up a Tamiya King Tiger with metal Tamiya tracks and I have discovered that both tracks have the wrong number of links, one side has 88 the other 90. The correct number of links is 92
Interestingly there is a single connector link screwed to the top of the left mudguard but all of the spare track on the turret are stock plastic.
Would anyone happen to have a spare set of metal Tamiya King Tiger track I could buy please? Preferably in the UK.

Hi, hopefully Mike might be able to help you out ,such a great guy but if not and your KT has impact tracks on it ,you can still buy spare track links from Impact .Not complete sets which is unfortunate but spares links. I have purchased some from them. Kenny Kong also made metal tracks for the Tamiya KT and some of this product is still sold by Patrick, a seller on eBay based in Hong Kong. He has a complete set of Tamiya KT available on eBay at the moment so you could use the [contact the seller section] of the add to ask him if he could sell you some links. Tamiya also produced their own metal tracks but these were open pin and a copy of their plastic tracks. The easiest way to identify whos track you have is the casting marks on the inside face of the track link. All of the above are different. Hopefully this may be of help and the other forum members may be of help as well. Lets
see if we can help get you KT sorted. Regards John.

Do you have a link to the Ebay listing? I just did a quick search and I can't see any.
