Beier SFR-1-HL and gun smoke

Does anyone have any tips to share how to get barrel smoke working with the beier board? I have this kit:

but can't seem to get either the fan or heater to activate on firing in my HL T90.

I have a xenon light installed if it matters. That works but I am unsure how to get the gun smoke heater and fan to trigger. Everything I've tried so far doesn't work.

I have a smoker for the engine already in the tank hooked to output 7 and 8 on the beier. That works flawlessly.

Perhaps the pcb in the above kit isn't compatible with beier?

I'll try next to add additional smoker fan and heater outputs and see if I can somehow get these outputs to trigger in firing.

Any further tips from someone who has previously done this with the beier would be a big help!

Seems I got it working by not using the smoker's HL pcb and simply connecting the smoker's fan to output 3 (which seems to be used for the xenon light cannon shot triggering - I'm using the dedicated xenon connecter so no loss of other functionality doing this) so the fan always triggers when I fire. I set the output type to pulse with a value of 8. Set the smoker heater as a convention engine heater output. So it's always generating smoke while the engine is on - ready for the cannon shot to be triggered. Works well.

Hello, Dimitri_Man. I am glad you already got some help with your question. An important, courteous custom here on RCTW is to do an introduction of oneself, perhaps telling of ones experience (or lack thereof, that's cool, too) with RC tanks, other hobby addictions, approximate location in the world, and whatever else might be helpful.
