Even though I'm usually dealing with 1/16th Shermans, I came across these files and they are too good to ignore.
It's a 1/10th scale M4A3 Sherman, with the T23 turret and HVSS suspension, and early T80 tracks.
The coolest thing about this design is that it uses a single engine/motor, which drives a 2-speed gearbox and steering is done using differential braking, much like the original Sherman.
As I'm a mechanic in real life I was so impressed by the the design that I wanted to build one myself. The model itself (visually) is pretty good, however I've changed some things for it to be more accurate and it will receive a different turret which I designed myself.
Haven't got much to show yet, as printing takes a long time with this scale lol.

It's a lot bigger compared to 1/16th scale.

Looks like a good project. I've been contemplating printing a 1/10th scale tank for the hell of it.

Believe it or not, but you can get them for free on this facebook page:

You can also see some build pics from the designer and a few others.

I did too...although I have bought some 1/10th files for a Jagdtiger. Kinda leaning toward printing that beast.

At this moment I have so many files, it would take years to print everything

I have files for the jagdpanther in 1/10, KV-1 + 2(free), 38T, T34, STZ-5, Panzer III, SDKFZ 222, M22 locus (free), armored car mk4 (static) and currently printing the SU-122, all in 1/10 and then I have files in 1/6 and even more in 1/16......

That's quite the lineup haha, I might do the KV-1 or -2 after the Sherman, but I've also got some work left on some of my 1/16th Sherman designs...
