Not keen on the blue chairs but it all adds to the look!

Ha! neither am I as the white ones are more familiar and look better weathered, but................

And so it begins ....... :/
Going with the uniform being DPM(or thats what Im hoping for) and the vest being the old British Desert DPM
Using Uncle Nightshifts glazing method.
Seems a bit counter-intuitive to beginning with the yellow base, but as you see in the link, it works.
See you in ten years :headbang:

The black is all that remains, then onto the vest and flesh.

Thanks Mr Lav, Im no figure painter, not at all.
The last shade to go on is the black. Balance of not too much but enough to be effective. Sure did have doubts of whether or not this will work.
Thinking its ok, well its the best I can do.
A go at the old 1990's style British DPM vest using Dark Yellow 2 and Desert Yellow is again, ok, without being perfect.
His flesh tone was the most difficult to complete. Used a mixture of XF-79 Linoleum Deck Brown with XF-1 Flat Black added to get a look close as I could to the various pictures.
A light wash and dust over with pigment & Im calling him done.

That figure is amazing. Looks to be 1/6th or larger, pulling that off in 16th, wow! Nailed the skin color/tone!
