I have the Haya Centurion does your Tamiya have a turret LED MG and if not are you thinking of fitting one, The Haya has the noise and is ready for an LED MG but does not come with it.

Hi Jarndice,

Yes - comes with a Besa Mg and fibre optic/led to fit in the barrel.

Changed it for a .30 cal as that’s what Israelis used.

I would mind a flashing .50 cal on top but that’s not going to happen.

3D printed resin parts arrived - stowage basket and Israeli type Jerry cans.

I have put some wire mesh onto the basket.

Tamiya Centurion finishing

Post by Ad Lav »

Spent some of the weekend finishing off doing the canvas mantlet cover, bolt detail and a coat of red oxide primer.

Starting to look the part now.

Awaiting a new search light bracket to be printed slightly smaller.

Khaki sand.

Same as the M51. A tad light for Sinai grey but a good base colour to start.
