Tank restorers are a special breed. Everything weighs a ton and the patience to move things into position for restoration or installation with jacks, derricks, and dollies. Great photos!

I am glad you had the opportunity to visit the museum.

Thank you for posting all those photos! I wish I could see Saumur: maybe someday. (I am saving the photos for reference when I build my Andy's Hobby Tiger I.

131 at Bovington because its engine had already been sacrificed resorted to a Tiger 11 engine to get into running order, My question is will the Saumur Tiger be using its original engine after renovation ?

Bovington Tiger's engine has been refurbished when they broke a connecting rod with a KT engine that has been supplied by Saumur's museum some decades ago.
Saumur Tiger will be running under its original engine. At least if it's ok after its overhaul process.
Thus making it the most complete and original running Tiger in the whole world of the earth as it has never ever been modified even when under French army management up until the early 50's.
