TAIGEN V3 TIGER RECOIL PROBLEM

Lads, have an old taigen Tiger 1 that has been retrofitted with the newer V3 set.
Everything works bar the elevation & recoil. Its like the unit in the turret has no power to it.
There is an on/off switch in the loaders hatch that i have tried in both positions, not sure what it does or why its there, but still nothing.
I have had the recoil/elevation unit out and all the wiring appears intact.
This tank HAS worked properly since the V3 was installed but been shelved for 3 odd years pending its owner to rekindle the tank-romance.
Battery fully charged
Switches in right place
I swapped out another motherboard that was new
still not working.
Could be the odd on/off switch is kaput but I cant check it.

any ideas folks ?

Had the same problem Herman, think the boards failed on this circuit. It usually a common positive a switched negative

Do you have this type of elevation and recoil unit?

I did wonder but swapped to another motherboard wioth no change.
Perhaps the actual unit itself is the problem, but Im not convinced that tiny on/off switch is also not at fault.

The on off switch under the turret hatch is for safety, it's for switching the BB unit on and off, to stop accidental pellet firing with the transmitter.
I've no idea why it would be needed with a non BB mechanism.

In my case recoil motor burned. I swapped it with another one from my stash.

Good morning,
Herman this small switch, was used on the Tir BB system to cut it, in the case of the Asiatam mechanism? it is advisable to delete it. Moreover, if you put this old Tiger I aside for a few years? and what was working? look if not blocked, the fat drying, sometimes blocks the mechanism. :'(
