I recently disassembled my Torro Panther G as I finally have some movement on my Panther Ausf D project only to find that the suspension holes are completely misaligned!
Since then I scaled up a set of drawings from Panzer Tracts 5-3 (Panther G) to 1/16 to double check the alignment and they are indeed all in the wrong places!
Here is an image I took of the hull sides on top of the diagrams.
This now means I cannot use the lower hull for my Panther D as the holes in the metal lower hull pan will not line up with the armour plates I am currently making.
However this does mean I now have a Panther Ausf G! Thank you Forgebear!
Three Panthers acquired, three to go.
