My name is Jose, i was an electronics technicien and always a rc and 3d printed fan. I have some rc trucks, cars and boats and a plane but always wanted to build a tank. Then one day i found this site: 3dprintedtanks.com, a czeckh site from a fantastic guy. So, problem solved, bought the plans for the Sherman M4A3 tank . I really love 3d printing but this was too much...750 pieces to print. Well, after two years and 5kgs of filament is in the process of assembly. For the electronics i went to the OpenPanzer project and one of its diferent versions, the one build by the member of this community Baldrick131 that has a page on the subjet here. So i followed him and here i am

. Already learned some things with you but there is too much information. Reading as needed and hope soon to publish some thing about my 3d "crazy" project. Thank you and regards to all the members

Wow! José, it seems that you are a sophisticated RC hobbyist with a special electronics education and experience. I am really eager to see your M4A3 and maybe you will be able to help me with my simple electronics challenges. Then, too, you must have been familiar with English for a long time.

Hi Herr Dr., thank you for your kind words. 40 years in electronics, repairing all kind od stuff mainly TV as profession and playing with arduinos and others as hobby, makes me confortable in reading and understanding schematics and adapting them to ny needs. Almost all of my formation was made in English so i can also understand what people say. And in other times i bought a lot from UK and even received magazines from there. Now that all ended, no more buyngs from UK. USA is another world, a fantastic one with so many good stuff to buy, but post and packing really expensive. Blessed YouTube, makes us dream with what we could do if we lived ther

It is interesting that you find the US such a good source for electronics. When it comes to RC armored fighting vehicles, I see Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, and the UK as the places with the best selection. So, like you, I find postage or shipping to be prohibitively expensive. Sigh!

Herr Dr., see for example WPL 1/16 rc cars and trucks. They are from China and the only wharehouse they have outside is in USA. Not in Europe. I have two trucks from them and really love them but to put better axes had to order from China. UK is fantastic but since they left EU is impossible to buy from them. Really expensive and all goes to the customs. In USA so many shops and brands, a huge market. Chzech and Poland are starting to take the market of UK and is a pitty i don´t understand a word they say in some shops and have to make currecy conversion every time. My tank is a project from a Chzeck guy and is really a fantastic work and has a manual in English but he recomended a forum for taking doubts that is all in chzeck
