Metal lower hull Panzer III COMPLETE!!

I never did have any luck with this Asiatam lower hull, the last set with wheels had sold so I was left to buy the one without wheels. Big mistake on my part right there! First slight problem was the gearboxes I had bought (asiatam low profile brass ones) their axles had different lengths so I bought Heng Long metal ones. They needed cutting to fix but I knew about this so I bought a dremel! Next problem was the axles for the road wheels were missing, luckily Welsh Dragon helped out on that and got me some to get me going
Then I didn't know how to put the return rollers on, again Welsh Dragon pointed me in the right direction
I had trouble fitting them and managed to bend an arm slightly whilst trying to hammer the axles in this morning hehehe!
I was all for selling the damn thing until Dad to the rescue! Thanks to his knowledge and wonderful assortment of tools and my dremel, the Panzer III is now completed!!!!!!! She even leans into corners and weighs a ton! I just need to fit her top back on and tidy the wiring/glue the switches and I can finally rest....but not for long!!!! The Tiger is on its way to me and I have plans to make it metal too!
So what have I learned?
1. Wait for Welsh Dragon to get the hulls that come with wheels fitted!!!!
2. If all else fails ask Dad!!!!
