Hello
I have a tamiya leopard 2 gearbox that i would like to use for my pzh 2000 building project.
The panzerhaubitze has the gearbox in front of the hull instead of the rear like the leopard.
I believe the rear speed of the leopard gearbox is slower then the forward speed.
Can i change the gearbox in some way so i can put it in front of the hull and go as fast as the leopard?
Thanks for the help.
Tamiya leopard 2 gearbox.

Niels: I would simply unsolder the leads to the motors, reverse them, and resolder them. This seems so simple, somebody else had better check me on this.
Re: Tamiya leopard 2 gearbox.
Only was I can think of is use a motor with forward timing so its faster forward than back, or a better option is limit the end point of your throttle channel on your tx.

I suppose for a Leopard II the faster forward speed is desirable; hence, merely reversing the poles would not be satisfactory. Captain Hugill's solution is better.
