you're right, the abbreviation Ufz. means Unteroffizier (= NCO).

I shall start the poll around midnight U.K. time tonight.
Therefore, anyone else interested in joining in the fun has a little over seven hours to decide

Quick! Somebody submit an entry that runs on a 1/16 scale model gasoline engine, has stinky exhaust smoke and perfectly-timed barrel smoke, a crew that climbs in and out, sticks heads out the hatches, cheers, screams, drinks beer, writes home to mom... Short of that, I am going to be tortured to choose between the two so far. I love this competition and look forward to it every month, but I just hate choosing between models that are equally matched and way-way-way superior to anything I could dream of accomplishing.
