Well, I wasn’t expecting to be back into tanks but I have rescued a Tamiya M51 Sherman from a friend of a friend.

I have been busy working on the M51 over the last couple of weeks.

Tonight see’s her back together after new parts and primer/re paint.

Lots still to do.

Very cool Nice work. I've never been a fan of the Sherman but I'm developing a soft spot for the M50 & M51.

Working on detail painting. Need to order decals from Forgebear.

Some detail painting and a pin wash added.

Also dry brushed the tracks as they were a little too red oxide for my liking.

Great Sherman. Good call on turning down the volume on those tracks. Much more better now.
