Re: Scratchbuilt Churchill Mk.IV AVRE
Thank you guys !
Yeah it's a shame to try to get things as clean as possible, I'm not sure it is worth it ! I'm hesitant to add mud on it because it would cover a lot of the suspension details...
Anyway here are some painting WIP.
Preshading, base color, chipping, filters, panel lines etc still a lot to do but it takes so long !
Markings have been painted with masks.
They have been made by our own Rad, thank you again mate, I know it's been a ton of work for you... He had to redraw a lot of my graph, even the letters because it's not a known font, I had to custom made every letter and he had to redo them to work with his soft ...
It doesnt look like that but it took more than 5 full hours to paint all the markings... The RE bull insignia was quite a challenge. I can't believe it worked, Rad, we did it ! Details are so small, you put your machine to its limits ! Result is far beyond my expectations, thanks again Rad !

Monsieur Tox, you have accomplished a stupendous model with Rad's markings and light weathering as finishing touches. I suggest that it is worth a special display stand with a glass or acrylic cover.

Excellent work! I'm always impressed with scratch builds. But this tank is exceptional! Bravo Sir.

When I say that I'm humbled, a rookie when compared to some of the builds by fellows on this forum, this is an example to what I'm referring to. Masterful work!
