Hi, i guess i have a question.

A few weeks ago i bought a Heng Long King Tiger 7.0, metal tracks, idler, sprockets, but plastic road wheels. After a few runs; the parts of the track broke at the connectors, sometimes the pins are all bent. Why does this happen? What went wrong? I let a picture of the problem.

Sounds like your tracks are too tight, where have you been driving your KT, in your house or outside?

Hello, and welcome to this great forum, as said above, aren't your tracks too tight? properly aligned in relation to the tension wheels? Does it seem quite fragile to me, as a material?

Hello, I think that the tracks are not very tight, this Saturday I will upload a picture so you can see it, when I took it out of the box the tracks were very loose and I had to tighten them up. When I roll it at home I have no problem, but when I roll it outside the tracks break as in the picture above and the pins come out, I think people put glue on the pins so they don't come out.... they also mount the henntec tensioner...anyway this Saturday I will upload a picture so you can see the tensioning of the tracks.

Alignment is everything, the track must run straight.
Track pins can be a pain I would not advise using glue to retain them but a decent thread lock such as "Loctite 243" will do a good job without being permanent.

As to adjusting the tracks when you first got the Tank I would always run it as is out of the box unless something was obviously wrong before adjusting anything.

I see that you have open track links. You can clearly see the pins. Or am I wrong ?

These chains are the worst you can use. They are a little better than plastic tracks, but nothing for a king tiger with its weight.

Get proper tracks and you will never have problems with them again. Of course you must always secure the pins with Loctite.

The pins on these tracks are very bad. Anyway I have them well aligned, on Saturday I want to upload a picture of how I have them tensioned so you can see them. I'll try loctitte.... when I opened it from the box, I know they were very slack.

I would even say that the plastic ones are much better than these tracks.... thanks a lot Guido for the recommendation of those metal tracks...do you recommend any other accessory for this tank?
