]I am liking these new generation HL tanks with full proportional control and IR\BB battle functions. I just bought 2 of them on ebay for less that $100 each. Three models are available.

1.Type 90
2.Leopard II
3. Abrams II

I got #2, #3, I own an older Type 90 that I will upgrade soon.

They runs off a 2s Li-poly and come with everything needed to do battle in either Infra red or BB battle mode.

The ads are poorly written as usual for items from China. No where does it say that it does both IR\BB battle functions. This ambiguity caused me to hesitate and if you read further into the ad it gets worse as the info there is for the older crappy models with 2 speed forward It makes you think that they are selling some old tech with new tech pictures which has happened to me several times on ebay. Oh, and when you ask a question about the item they rarely reply and sometimes don't known the answer and they will have to contact the factory in China

But these two were the real deal and I feel I got what I paid for Yes I paid as much for the used one as the new one I missed that "used" word in the description on the Leopard, the Leopard has a clicking sound in the gearbox Oh well, I will take it apart and fix it as it is annoying to send them back. I am asking the seller to adjust the price due to this defect.

These HL 1/24 Tanks are excellent Tanks for upgrade and or using as is. If upgrading , there is plenty of room inside to work with well, compared to 1\35 models

I have 4 of these tanks. 2 are older models with a primitive R\C system that I will be upgrading. So two of these 1/24 Tanks will have a 1s setup and the other two will have their 2s factory setup. Did I mention that all 4 of these 1/24 Tanks have plastic BB guns as well as I|R?

the first one to be upgraded is a Abrams model and I will upgrade it to a 1s I|R battle Tank using a 1s radio gear from a 1\30 HL IR battle Tank.

The 1/30 HL Sherman and M26 I|R battle Tanks are good I|R Tanks but they lacks suspension and main gun up\down control. I will do a seperate thread on these two Tanks. They will donate their radio gear for upgrade of the older 1/24 HL Tanks.
