Looking over current offerings of speaker boxes (3D Printed) didnt really impress me much so I decided to make my own-Like I used to do when I was a kid and involved with car stereo competitons. I have always prefered a sealed enclousre over ported to begin with, so I'm going that route. This box is made for factory Henglong speakers, but wired in series to give 8ohms...


Visaton speakers (commonly used & sold by aftermarket Board & Sound system makers) are readily available much cheaper at Parts Express.

By doing so, custom speakers can be made for just about any tank.

It's always fun to build your own speakers. However, in the field of sound, there has been a huge evolution in recent years. When you look at a JBL Go 2, for example, you realize that the bass level is mind-blowing for a speaker of this size. That's why I wanted to integrate one into my AMX 50 120, and I'm not disappointed! Just tinker to lower the amplified output level of the electronic board to be able to accept it through the line input (3.5mm jack). Try it and let me know...

For the speaker, just search "jbl go 2" on google. For the high level transformer, I took this one:

which, as it is stereo, makes it possible to make 2 mono.
The overall cost is low for a result superior to any Visaton...
