SU-152 Zvierboi

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

No one has ever liked the easy life at the Patrie Officine. The project ends not with the panzer but with its transport / stowage case.

That empty space under the barrel didn't convince us. In other situations you can put the radio there. But the SU is too narrow and the radio doesn't fit there. We began to create accessories suitable for a tank used in a fixed defensive position:

But appetite comes with eating.....

The panzer is set in the pocket of Ostland (today's Latvia) winter 1944. The wagon is buried, in a fixed position, the box contains a section of this excavation:

it will surely have happened to you too. Picking up a model again and thinking "I did that? But how did I do it?"

Afternoon of a public holiday, low clouds, rain, the first cold temperatures.

The desire to take some shots, to experiment, to dare.

Some good shots, some less good. The last one is the champion, the one sought without knowing him.

Winter had arrived in the Ostland. The snow became ice and the cold entered the bones. When you're in a pocket you don't have much to do. Wait.

Bravo! I agree that the recent photo is remarkably realistic. However, everything about your accomplishment here is amazing. You are right to be enjoying that moment of thinking, "But how did I do it?" Congratulations!
