Morning all ,I have come back to RC tank modelling after 14 years .Bought a Tamiya King Tiger ,full option way back in 2008 .Built hull and tested it all worked fine ,sound ,forward rear and turning motion .Put it back in cupboard and there it has sat one operation .
Whilst searching through the cupboard for my main hobby ,O gauge railways ,there sat the box with the kit in .
Decided this week need to build it and have some running time .That’s when hit issues .
The charger ,blue case Ripmax Futuba to charge the Futuba transmitter ,no lights .The charger for the tank battery ,no lights .Guess both dead?
Purcsed from EBay a small multi battery charger ,set to Niamh then also had to buy a pack of Futuba build your own plugs .Made up utilised a Tamiya large connector and duly lugged in transmitter battery .Put on charge for some 7hours and it was still charging ,not showing “full” Would this be normal ?
Now this morning charging the 7.2 volt 3700mah battery .
Wait and see how long this takes .
The story will continue
