Hello. I'm Rob Hayhurst, retired and disabled vet. It's hard for.me to do yard work anymore.or walk.long so.mostly chair bound. So I picked up some.old tanks and decided to try and get them running or fixed up for display. I have loved tanks since a kid and did a stint in the US army as a cav scout.

Hello and welcome to the forum Rob
I'm sorry to hear about your physical troubles, but you're in the right place for physiotherapy, because we'll have you up and down like a yoyo, reaching for that wallet in your pocket multiple times
Such is the addictive lure of this hobby
So, a friendly warning, always do a quick tally of the costs when receiving free advice, yes, the advice is truly free, but the consequences rarely are, especially when refurbishing old models.
Again, welcome to the forum, and I hope you enjoy your time with us.
Regards.
Mick.

Hello! I responded to your question about the old-fashioned crystals. When you give up on those, lots of us will help you spend a fortune on replacements. And, hey, I'll look at photos even if the tanks aren't yet running. But then, I am not as capable as Stu of the Flat nifty buildings, etc.
