Hi Tankers.
I have been into rc tanks for some time and have about a dozen 1/16 HL tanks some of which were basic models to which I have fitted new control boards, smoke and sound kits, metal tracks, metal gearboxes etc. as well as my own version antenna to get rid of the overly long wobbly one that comes with them.
I also have some 1/6 figures and vehicles some of which are also rc.
Looking forward to contributing to this site.
Max.

Hello guys. I would love to post some pics of my gear but being a 60 year old and not that tech savvy i'm not actually sure how to do it. Some help would be nice and then I'd be glad to.
Max.

Ok. I think I am working it out now. I bought this guy from a hobby shop in China. It was empty inside except for 2 old motors with old connectors that did not match anything I knew about. I just liked the paint job and the metal tracks. I fitted smoke and sound, control board, low ratio metal gearbox, working lights (the ones on it were display only) and, a surprise even to me, everything worked first try! I'll post pics of my own version of antenna soon. Good range and looks the part. Made out of a toilet screw and some wire.
