Blackpool Model show 15th/16th October

Post by AlwynTurner »

For any of you looking for a day out the Blackpool Model show is on from Saturday15th october to Sunday 16th October and the the NW Tank and Military Vehicle Group will have a large stand there
https://blackpoolmodelshow.co.uk/

For those who want to make a weekend of it there will be a large fireworks display on the beach in front of the Blackpool tower at 8:30pm on Saturday 15th October
https://www.visitblackpool.com/things-t ... blackpool/

We attended the one held last Saturday and it was spectacular (apart from the suddewn downpou about 2/3 of the way through which resulted in a thorough soaking.

Hi yes that is indeed the case being a long serving group member, along with my 3d printed tanks. There will also be (I hope) many other group members with their tanks and vehicles. Last years exhibition was excellent with many stands for boats/railways/trucks and I think there will be a large water tank for displays of model boats. There will also be a significant representation by traders now we are mainly over Covid so lots of opportunities to buy spares/tools/accessories.
