Heng long metal tracks

Post by NAB »

I got some metal tracks for my KT which came with metal idler and sprocket wheels but not road wheels.
If I try and use the standard wheels will the metal tracks chew them up?

There should not be any problems.

It is the gearbox that will give problems if you still have the Heng Long Nylon or pot metal versions,
I would advise you fit gearbox output shaft bearings at the earliest opportunity.

I would add to what jarndice has stated, and advise using idler tensioners, unless those idlers fit in perfect alignment with the chassis.
