While I wait for the finishing touches to roll out of the Raminator production facility, I amused myself with reducing the profile of the barrel.
Used beading wire along the barrel to attach some scraps of a netting material that I cannot recall even getting
Under that i painted some bandage with a green /khaki mix and sliced it into strips.
Jury is out on the strips, not secured yet,

but once touched up they will likely stay.
I see in touring around the tank part retailers in the Northern Hemisphere there has been a rush on T90 crew figures :/

The barrel cam netting looks really good, well done.

I'm working on it! Everything should be ready to post by the end of the week. Got the bottles done so far:

The fun thing about clear resin is that it glows while you cure it. It's really pretty with the lights off!

The netting looks great, but I think the bandage strips stick out a bit too much because the denser material makes them look darker than they actually are (particularly in silhouette). A bit of dusting over the top might blend them back together?

Been experimenting with the rubbish bags seen on a lot of Russian AFV's that seem to be filled with dirt to act as additional protection. some are white, some blue, some green, I've made blue ones, but can do them in any colour required.
used small zip lock bags, folded in half and painted on the inside with tamiya XF-8 Flat Blue.
A teaspoon -ish of actual sand, and tied off with green cotton.
I checked the scale with rubbish bags I have at home & they are virtually identical for size.
Plausible that domestic dwellings have them handy, and the crews take any opportunity to give themselves any advantage they can get, even if its futile.
I have another 3 in progress.
Once filled & tied off, i fold the bag in half and secure the halves with neat PVA glue.
Then using neat PVA, place the bag in position.
Once the plastic bottles & other goodies arrive from Mr Raminator, this thing should look pretty close to how a lived in and reluctantly crewed tank looks in so many you-tube clips common on the net now.
Ive still to lightly wash them & dust them in with the rest of the tank.

They look good and break up the green colour well.

I agree, the contrast with the green tank and red-brown cage makes everything pop and it looks great. Looking forward to seeing all the stowage piled on!

I did try to get the handles into the close colour but they went too dark. I might give it a go over with a much lighter shade & see if that works.
The plastic bag armour upgrade is now on the other side.!
Looks ok, perhaps another one or two here & there
Once all the extra stowage goes on it will finish the look im after.
