They would have to release it after I decided to convert a Trumpeter T-72B1 with Kontact armor to RC...but then after watching the vid I'm glad the Trumpeter kit has more "correct" detail to it. It has the additional NBC stuff and additional armor that the HL version does not.
This reminds me of the KV-2 where they just slapped a KV-2 turret on on a KV-1E and called it good. Seems like they just slapped ERA on the standard T-72 and called it good also.

Hi All
Yes, it’s more like a t-72a with Edz or an S.
As always with heng long they never go that extra 2mm to get stuff right.
I thought they had a thing with trumpeter, maybe not, the challenger 2 was ripped completely from the trumpeter 1/35 first release, and it has all the same faults (the biggest is the mantlet protrudes and the front hull is a bit “interesting with the angles).
I got it from Heng long/toucan hobby.
It’s mainly on toucan so I’d get it there, and hopefully it goes forwards!.
The new gun unit I’m fitting is a god send though, not buggering about with cutting and linkages.

Am I the only one who thinks the Heng Long Abrams metal Hull + metal running gear on this site is a bargain @ £500 including carriage ?
