is there any advantage to use a 3s lipo over a 2s lipo on a V7 rx

Good evening, voltage difference, 2 S = 7.2 volts, 3 S = 11.10 volts!!! it is better to privilege the capacity (Ah) than the voltage, personal opinion

Firstly check you electronics because 11.1V will fry it. V7 you mean Heng Long 7.0?

V6.1 and 7.1 will take a 3s pack.
3s provides higher voltage which gives higher top speed and more power. It also allows you to run slower gearing but with the same speed as 2s
