Hi Guys
Another set of pictures of another truck we have been working on.
The truck has been worked on by a couple of us on here on the forum.
Some changes have been made, mainly because i'm mad and always need far too much power haha
Still a Work In Progress, big thankyou to Martin for making such a good truck
to give an idea of scale or this truck, here it is up against the WCP Models 1/16 251 halftrack!
Some people are going to ask what power is it going to run!
Well it will use a good tried and tested method of Dual 370 motors, however this time they will be configured to run thru a transfer case and drive together in a 6x4 configuration
The rear axles are not going to have any differentials in order to make the truck perform on lose and bumpy surfaces(nothing too extreme).
This will be used to haul an M9 trailer with a metal Sherman on board, so it needs to have grunt.
It will be a capable of 2s or 3s lipo running. Although i dare say with a 4s lipo you could do some amazing burnouts with it and donuts!
I might need to re-engineer the tow hitch a little as it is going to take some abuse if it is to haul such a weight.
Keep a look out for more pictures as it pieces together
As can be seen it is being constructed with Resin SLA parts and FDM parts.
The main chassis features an aluminium u channel for strength.
It is then bolted and glued together. The chassis is particularly strong and well built.
The resin parts mean alot of details like the chequer plate can be brought to life.
