I have finally finished printing the main components of the Comet. It has been great fun and relatively stress free. There is still a lot of work to do before it finally finished. Top of the list is take the turret apart and get the base coat on. Then take the wheels of and paint behind them, paint the wheels and glue the tyres on.
There is still some printing to do including handles, machine gun and a host of accessories. Also got to figure out the sound module, firing mechanism and smoke generator. All this should keep me busy for a while.

Thanks Herman, I was tempted with your offer but I couldn't find a piece of string long enough to tie on the back to pull it home!
Seriously, all the credit must go to Lubos at 3DPrintedTanks for designing an amazing model.

Got the sound card working. The speaker is only a small one supplied with the sound card. I have a 4 inch speaker and an amplifier which needs to be wired up. Still haven't got around the weathering.

Now that I've got a high speed 3D printer on the way, maybe I'll tackle a larger tank to print as yours is mighty fine.
