Read those and your other sound articles as well, good stuff.
I figure you will have some experience here so i wanted to ask: which of v3 and v4 is the easiest to interface with an arduino tcb?
Im working on Pz2 and intend to make use of a mega 2560 (or pro version there of) to run it.

Sorry, I am late replying, I did not see your post till now.
Both use the same programming software. I believe the V4 is just a smaller version, with smaller sound output and memory.
If you have enough room, I'd fit the V3 on it. I like long audio files, besides I find it easier to work with. The super small light outputs are not for everybody.
But hey, that is just me.

Yeah dude get the v3. The v4 is for tiny 1/87 scale cars and stuff. The v4 is not an improved version of the v3.

T(h)anks for the input, i managed to find the v2 for a good price and ordered it before the reply, i did conclude that the smaller one would probably be harder to work with.
Ill do basic to begin with as this is my first tank (and rc vehicle with sound).
