If it's training films you want to see then I heartily recommend the full colour films on the avoidance and treatment of Gonorrea and Syphilis,
American made of course and an innocent young soldier came out of the training hall terrified,
Not a lot of banter on the march back to barracks.
About the only good thing that came from it was that it drove me to drink.

Funny you should say that Shaun, back in 1972 when I was an army cadet at 13, when I first visited a military camp with many other cadets from around the isles, we were shown a VERY graphic gun safety training film before we went to the range. It made a few of the cadets quite sickly. But I think it got the message across
Although we'd already had experience with .22 Enfield's in mostly indoor rifle ranges (mine was at Farringdon House, Stonecot Hill, Morden). They were letting us loose on the .303 Enfield's, also the current semi auto used by the army, and an SMG
It still makes me smile to this day at what I was let loose with at 13

Haha that's some great laughs for me this evening. I've never heard of a rifle grenade being used like that. They don't bore holes. Love the propaganda. Reminds me of the MG-42 training video IIRC "hear that? don't worry it's bark is worse than it's bite!"
good stuff

That's another good one. At least it shows more formidable arms and better tactics.I'm guessing these films were early on in the war.
