WCP Wirbelwind kit testing

Post by dgsselkirk »

Hey Guys, on a little break from Sherman Fireflies and 75mm's while the electronics are installed. So decided to take a crack at the WCP RC Models and Crafts Wirbelwind turret using a TK40sp Clark board set up with the 20mm quad firing sounds. These sounds and the board came from Kenny at DAK R/C in the U.S.

Here is a little video of the turret testing:

I noted before that the speed of firing for the Wirbelwind is remarkable. Turn that one up loud, and I'd bet you can scare a few people. Have fun, Dean!

Very nicely done, looks great altogether.
We enjoyed designing that kit, works really nicely, i am just trying to sort out time when i can finish the Ostwind version.
Definitely a tank i think which should be entered into TOTM Dean ;)
