I have just stripped an old bulldogs guts out,RX13 im assuming,,good way to learn in my eyes,and put a TK-6.0 board in it just for a bit of a basher and on reading the manual and it says 7.4_12.6v does that mean it will run on a 3s lipo ? or will it fry it,

I know the 6.1 can run on 3s. Not sure about the 6.0. My 6.1s did everything better on 12v. I noticed the motors didn’t get hot on 12v but on 7.4v they would get hot.

No, will not fry, whatever the type of batteries, as soon as the voltage (volts) remains the same, there is no problem. On the other hand for the Lipo, just be careful if equipped with a cut-off system below 3.7 volts (memory?) to protect the battery. Or install an alarm system, otherwise the battery will be destroyed by too low voltage. Don't think that exists on this type of turntable? so be careful!!!

i got alarms for them when i use them on my other RC stuff

If you plan on using a smoke unit, it will have to be of the V6.0 series-compatible types. Standard ones will burn out at 12.6 v. HL put a warning to this effect in the user manual for TK 6.0/6.1 series systems.
This may also apply to the BB unit, if fitted- although I'm not sure about that.

Thanks but i have stripped all that out for these two im messing with.

Voltage converters are cheap. You can also buy smoke units with the voltage converter wired.
