Hello to all,

some weeks ago I decided to build a Super Pershing based on the Tamiya Pershing. So I got a second hand Pershing with some small defects, ordered some spare parts and now it's time to start the project und to launch a build log. My references are some books (f.ex. Hunnicut) and a 1/35 HobbyBoss kit. And additional some great Super Pershings here and in other (German) forums.

I will post some status pictures in the next days. And may be I will need some advice from the Super Pershing experts here.

have a nice day

Hi,
Have you decided which Super Pershing you will build ?
- Pilot 1 with the extra armor and stabilizer springs with T15E1 gun, sent to Germany and saw some action in WW2.
- Pilot 2 without the extra armor, not sure about the presence of stabilizer springs, with T15E2 gun, no WW2 action.
- One of the few production machines.

I know Hobbyboss as a different 1/35 kit for all 3 versions. Each have little accuracy issues. The Tamiya Super Pershing is obviously their M26 with longer barrel, not sure it is a good representation of any version.

Everyone wants a Super Pershing pilot one, of course.

Hello everybody & thanx for comments !

Of course, it will be the Pilot 1 ! I love this extra armor and the stabilizer !

I have bought the HobbyBoss kit, but I am not satisfied with this. The parts are not very accurate, but it's nice to measure the parts and re-calculate for 1/16.
