Lee over at Newthorpe Models will be doing a full build for me, as I`ve just started my BA Hons Degree

, so I don`t really have the time myself for this kind of project - that said, I`m sure that over the next few rally seasons I will add my own bits `n pieces to the big metal beastie!
Already have some 1/6th goodies - Dragon metal MG34 with AA mount, Dragon metal MG42 with tripod, Dragon Panzerfaust 30 (x2) & Panzerfaust 60 (x2) with crate & Piat with (x3) rockets courtesy of ebay

!
Plan to get some British Dragon figures (also from Newthorpe Models) - got me eye on a NCO MP, Infantry NCO section leader and a sniper (Private) from No.6 Commando, spanning period 1944-45.
Should be doing my first all 1/6th shows by early next year

you know - thats fun. I also started up collecting 1:6 personell. So far I have 2 panzer crew member for a Tiger + 3 german paratroopers. One day I will step up into the 1:6 scale
My 50'th birthday is only 1.5 years away, so mayby the wife will "invest" in a fairly large present - you never know
My wish is to have the german tiger in 1:6, standard panzer gray in color.
cheers and good luck with the "transfer to the dark side"

You have a definite point there Steen! This 1/6 scale stuff is really fun
I have just added another (plastic this time, but still looks great!) Dragon MG42 and tripod to the equipment list - I do have a real thing about MG42s, incredibly cool looking bit of kit

and lets face it - still being made (as the MG3 these days) some 60 years after the first one came off the production lines - nuff said in my book mate
...and keep working on that wife of yours :-\ 1.5 years should be more than ample time to get around the good lady for that dream Tiger! (Here`s a handy tip though - if you get more than 1 tank, paint them all the same colour - that way she won`t notice you have another one! ::) it`s worked so far with my misses!).
Happy hunting my old freind!
