With your tankers hat on - is it ever off - let's hear your 2022 resolutions!

I'll offer up one of mine for starters:
- This year l will think twice before l hit the 'buy' button in the online model shops and consider how l might better spend the money for the good of mankind.

However, let's face it, keeping little Chinese kids in gainful employment and off the streets must overide the needs of polar bears missing their ice. :shifty:

Tragi-comic, but true:

Since over the past twenty-five years I gave to charity what amounts to half of my life savings, in 2022 I am going to figure out how to maintain my hobbies at a reasonable level and still pay all the necessary bills. :O

This is going to take some real thinking:

Oh, you wrote resolutions. I guess those cannot be necessities. :haha:

...it lasted a smidgen over 4 hours...

Oh well... It was an awesome deal. It was late. I was full of good food, good whiskey and good cheer. I really shouldn't browse Banggood drunk...

My resolution is to finish my gunboat, receive my Arkmodel 1/48 Type 7 U-Boat that should be here in a week and to keep cooking things like today’s cast iron skillet New Year’s deep dish pizza!

2022 Resolutions, make a better year than 2021 :)
Will not buy any more tanks(could be easily broken!), but that doesn't mean we won't design and make some ourselves hahahahahhaha

This new year promises so much both in our hobby but also in the wider world,
Covid will be on the wane, employment will increase and I shall try very hard to reduce the backlog of builds that either need finishing or started :haha:
I have just received a couple of boards from "Banggood" only slightly larger than the board in my WCP Kubel but with built in provision for light and sound alongside power and steering so that will be a priority to change the original to see how effective the new board is and if it is it will go into my 251 when Will and Cath get it to me and I really must start on the 1/12 trailer build so that my Abrams has somewhere to look pretty :/
ANd the best thing about new year resolutions is that nobody expects you to keep them :haha: :haha:

If the pandemic can finally end, I promise not to spend the vacation budget on RC tanks.
