Hi everyone i'm new to tanking but not RC. However the RC scheme for tanks is way different than anything i've see before. Hoping to get some advice on here as I progress in the build of my two Tamiya kits. I've got a 1/16 Leopard 2 and 1/16 Abrams i'm working on.
Based in NC in the US.

Hi Auto_Loader,
Two very nice tanks! I've always loved the big Leopard, so very Teutonic looking! You've found the best Forum out there! Look around and enjoy yourself! Back in 2020 (before Covid arrived on the scene) I spent 2 splendid weeks in Sanford, NC in a 5,200 square foot renovated barn. A true million dollar conversion. I did nothing but play with my tank and smoke cigars...ah the good old days!
Cheers,
Eric.

Welcome, auto_loader. You have, indeed, started with some great kits. I saw your question on the metal parts for the Tamiya kits. I have never had a Tamiya RC tank, so I can't answer, but I bet you will soon get lots of answers (probably conflicting so you can make your own choice with a bit more knowledge).
Now to me, an auto-loader is a specialized train car to haul new cars and small trucks. Hmm...

Am I way off?
