Hi folks

I am going to put el-mod in my HL Pershing, and wondered if anyone have worked on a soundset for the Pershing. The one that comes with the el-mod, is kind of "weak" especially the engine start is not very good.

cheers

You can download all sorts of sound files from here. They are usually better than the Elmod offerings, and save you having to create your own.

Thanks Rob (AgainĀ  :) )

Just checked the pershing sounds, and that one is also very "weak".

Fun thing however. I checked the m41 sounds, and that sound set just blew me away. So, I was thinking if any one know if the engine sounds from the m41 in reality is much different from the Pershing sounds.

If they are close in "real", I will put them on the el-mod for my pershing.

cheers

If you take a look on You Tube, you will probably find real videos of both, that's what I use to gauge how realistic the sounds are.

I created a Bulldog turbine sound file, but never perfected it, and I now putting the unit in a T34 (with t34 sounds...that I am still working on).

This is what the Bulldog turbine sounds like, taken from a real one.

Elmod M41 Bulldog - Turbine sounds. Test 1.

Thanks Jake, that gives a very good comparison. So, I have decided to put in the m-41 sounds, as the soundset is much more powerfull.
