:) That's very impressive, Rad- but then, we have come to expect top-quality models from you. Might I ask what the origin of 'Budai is'? My first thought was that it must be connected with the Burma campaign. My second, with Budapest. Is it actually a style of bridge? If so, it's not one I've heard of before. :)

By the way, this is a 'Clapper' Bridge.

...nah, a 'clapper' bridge is an ancient type found all the way from Dartmoor to the Highlands of Scotland, and looks like this:

Hey, it is indeed connected with Budapest and Budai is the family name of the hungarian guy who designed the bridge. I thought he would be happy to see his name in my diorama and that is the minimum I could do. :)

That would be so cool to drive a tank over that bridge! I’m even more motivated to make an informal tank area around my outdoor railroad. Even installing just one bridge would improve my driving enjoyment.

Thanks guys!

Bridges are indeed a super cool thing in any diorama, it brings loads of joy. Just beware of not making it too steep or the tanks will slip while triying to climb. I have found the height of my bridge to be perfect, if I did the ramps with a bit stronger angle it would not be possible to climb it it with the tanks. Sadly physics does not scale...
