Dear all,

I am near completion of the first figures for my Panther.
The Panther crew wear coveralls from Italian camouflage material.
Now my question: do they have rank insignia on the upper sleeves?
My (usually) go to reference doesn't have a chapter with these Italian uniforms so any help will be appreciated!

And what about the position of the radio-operator, is this realistic?

With regards,

I couldn't find any photos, but here's a brief article on the subject. It appears that, apart from uniforms made out of Italian M29 material, Panzer crews also wore U-Boat leathers when they could get them- as these had a measure of fire-resistance, when compared with standard issue.

I imagine that they would have the usual insignia, in the usual positions. Tamiya produce an excellent set of WW2 Panzer insignia in 1/16 scale, by the way. they're also fairly easy to apple.
