Another beautiful build.

Thank you Barry, 43rdRecceReg and Meter Rat !
Here are a couple of Youtube videos of the Lynx in action.
First video is a short demo of the finished model with its electronics capabilities.
The second video is a short demo outside on the deck in winter. It is really a bad idea to run a small vehicle by -10c outside in snowy weather. Snow got stacked right away in the tracks, creating ice blocks and issues. I only got one shot before the ice preventing any more action. Anyway, it was fun doing it.

Now there's a UN peacemaker: he fires a .50 Cal. with a cup of coffee in his hand! Even Sgt. Saunders couldn't do that! (I wonder if anyone remembers Sgt. Saunders). I love the snow run, too, especially since that's just like here in Wisconsin, US just now.

I left the coffee cup on the TC hand on purpose. A UN peace keeping mission in the middle of a civil war involves "gentle persuasion" with negotiations usually with a cup of coffee. The guns are just for the show. If the UN soldiers would need to fire the Browning in anger, the mission would be in great danger, and they could expect an RPG in reply. In Bosnia in the 1990s, where the situation was tough, the Canadians organized a free demonstration of the TOW under Armor missile capabilities to the locals, it worked as well.Herr Dr. Professor wrote:Now there's a UN peacemaker: he fires a .50 Cal. with a cup of coffee in his hand! I spent about three months in Tusla in 1996, but that was at the end of the fighting. Spent a month of that on a hilltop maintaining a satellite link and a bunch of antennas pulling intel out of the area and sending it our field station in Germany. Closest I ever got to a conflict while I was in the Army. I was closer to hostilities living on Kandahar Airbase as a civilian. Saw a bunch of Canadians there.

"I was closer to hostilities living on Kandahar Airbase as a civilian. Saw a bunch of Canadians there." So you got into drunken fisticuffs with the Canadians?
