This tank I was not able to open didn’t have a long enough screw driver to get the back two screws out.

Heng Long, Jagdpanther, 27Mhz, looks like plastic sprockets/idler/tracks.
Unknown MFU, but likely an RX18. Will have either plastic or pot-metal gearboxes.
The Number 17 decal/image was added to the back of the casement (next to the large loader hatch).

My 2-cents and wild guesses: On the bottom of the Jagdpanther, I see the sticker for the No. 3 crystal. That means that the corresponding transmitter should have a No. 3 crystal in the lower right front, too. If I am remembering correctly, having the corresponding crystals and the three-way switch in the correct position will make the tank and the transmitter communicate correctly. Someone with more recent experience with HengLong RX13 or 18 and a better memory

may want to jump in here and check that I am correct.
I believe, too, that the number 3869 is actually a HengLong stock number, not any number the Germans ever used. HengLong had/has a habit of providing these press-on numbers along with the crosses (
Balkenkreuze), etc. As Jarlath already said, the number 17 on the rear of the casement is something apparently not original even to HengLong. Could there be a transmitter with a corresponding "17" on it? Maybe the previous owner did so to keep corresponding transmitters/tanks straight.

An image of the remote can also help determine the type of control board.
Example.
Does it have a 3 position "channel" Switch? or a removable Plug that has the corresponding 27Mhz Crystal on it (where the switch previously was)?

They are the 27mhz crystal controllers
