Hi chaps,
A few photos of the painting of the halftrack, starting with the hull first.

Firstly, ..I aint no painter..and do not profess to be one..and its been a long time since i weathered anything....so all you expert painters be gentle

Painted in Dunkelgelb yellow as they were at that time with what i call subtle weather streaking and light chipping and rust as these 251/23's were introduced late on so wouldn't have got really rusty...anyhoo..

I still have some various items to make and fit yet so not finished, will post some proper pics when its done.

Just a quick post,
Added the left hand brake light to the Notek convoy light, as per my previous post a hole is placed in the moveable flap that allows the brake light to show through when the flap is down in convoy position.
Needs varnishing in last pic to tone it down a bit.

Hi,
Thx for the continued interest, rolling-thunder, tankme and Mr Bix.
A few pics of the turret and its compartment, I have some items to scatter about on the shelving areas to make it looked " lived in " when it gets nearer to completion.
Photos from my phone, definition isn't very good so the details are not as sharp as when viewed by the MK 1 eyeball sorry.

Will post a few more in a while.

A small Accoutrement I am making for the SDKFZ 251/23 to tow around, a Sd-ah 57 Ammunition trailer.

From plastic card, a WPL axle and converted wheels i had in the parts bin.
