Hi,
I'm Dennis from North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. I am 35 years old and have actually been modeling since I was 10 years old. Everything started back then with Revell kits. At first mostly with ships, but then very quickly from 1:72 tanks to the larger 1:35 models. I've always had a great preference for tank technology and their driving behavior.
Unfortunately, everything fell asleep during my school days. The "love" was rekindled through the online game World of Tanks and I bought a Heng Long Tiger 1. But since I was always more interested in the large and exotic tanks, I devoted myself to scratch-building.
So, over the past few years, I've gradually implemented my favorite projects. The whole thing started with the tortoise, then the Hellcat, then the german Neubaufahrzeug and then extended over the russian IS4 to the T29E3.
I am currently working on the British Churchill MkVIII.
I don't have a large arsenal of tools myself. All I need to build is the CAD software, my 3D printer - CR10 and lots of screws and glue.
I really like a lot of metal on the tank and that's why I often have my kits milled by Christian Ludwig according to my CAD data.
I am also sending you some pictures of my buildings and I am looking forward to many nice and informative forum posts
