In a recent post I was asked about the name SAXONDOG,I gave a brief answer about how it Honors our past ancestors. On this forum we all Honor our past ancestors by discussing, exchanging idea's,and keeping alive the many contributions that common men and women gave to support their country and their people in time of war.Every time we model a tank, think about what made that vehicle live,it was the designers, builders, transporters, and finally the crews our ancestors that made history in these vehicles.Without these people, their would be no history,no battles no tanks. We have a habit on this forum of welcoming new recruits, and of being accurate in our modeling of these vehicles from so many countries, this open acceptance of people and this drive to be accurate serve well to honor all those that gave so much for so many by fighting in these steel beast, and for so many became steel coffins.I'm proud to be a member of this forum. Blake 1-Saxondog

I also would like to say --"Well said Blake"  ;D ;D        On another Forum """cough---cough """"  well you know which one, I did see a post started on how some of the members chose their user name.It was interesting to read and if anyone cares to start a post on how the user name was chosen here I would contribute to such a post myself.

Seconded, Bigmig. Very well said Blake. My hat is off to those who manned the steel monsters, and often in conflict they are indeed their steel coffins.
