Replacing nuts and bolts

Good afternoon. It’s me again.
Just a quickie question for the hive mind.
I’ve got my Taigen Pro King Tiger hull and deck stripped down as far as I can get. I’ve never seen so much superglue / gloop on any model I’ve ever worked on and it’s been a real pig of a job to do.
I’m going to replacing the all nuts, bolts and screws where possible with better quality stainless steel ones.
What are the hive’s thoughts on using Nylok / locking nuts or blue thread lock blue?
Thanks in anticipation.

I heartily endorse the use of nut bolts and washers in our builds and where they are available I always use nylocks and Loctite 243 is my first choice of threadlock when Nylocks are not available I get mine from------

Rolson make a very nice (And Cheap) Tap and die set that can provide you with scale threads for your scale nuts bolts and screws.

Hello,
why stainless steel? there are many suppliers, micro screws, (brass or steel) on the net
see different forum posts, there are many links to find happiness

I can buy stainless nuts and bolt from my local engineering supplies warehouse individually. I don’t really want to buy a pack of 50 normal steel ones, when I possibly only need two. I hope that makes sense?

Thank you.
I’ve bought from prime-miniatures in the past, but model fixings is one I’ve not seen before.
